January 2017 Favorites
CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, $9 / Sally Hansen Apricot Cuticle Cream, $5 /
Sure Aerosol Antiperspirant, $3 / Tree Hut Sugar Scrub, $7 / Vaseline Spray Moisturizer, $6
Yeah – I completely screwed up and forgot to write about my January 2017 Favorites. Oops. It’s a drugstore kind of month, in fact. Details after the jump.
I shared my switch to this foaming cleanser last week. As much as I enjoy prestige items, an effective drugstore item is loved even more.
Cuticle oil doesn’t work at work. I don’t want to type or shake hands with oily fingertips. Now I can tend to dry cuticles whenever they happen without those concerns. (I still use cuticle oil at home though).
On Monday, I shared this aerosol antiperspirant. It’s functional, inexpensive, and effective. It’s invaluable in layering season or when you’re wearing a lot of synthetic fabrics that don’t breathe.
Dry skin plagues many of us in the winter months, and I religiously reach for Tree Hut’s sugar scrubs. Really – it’s been in couple favorites posts (August 2016, last January) for a reason! Coconut Lime is the best.
I don’t lotion my legs enough. This spray-on lotion from Vaseline has been helping me add some moisture back to my skin when I don’t have time to sit there for fifteen minutes waiting to dry. It isn’t the same as my beloved Eucerin, but it does what I need when I’m in a hurry and is definitely better than nothing at all. It’s scented, but not extremely; because I only use it on my legs, it doesn’t bother me even so.
