Thanks for bearing with me for a late Favorites post! What a month. At the end of June, I became a homeowner. July was a whirlwind of work on the property which culminated in the move. August has been a mess of trying to solicit order from the chaos that is a sea of boxes.
I didn’t have much time to spend on fun new beauty stuff, but because we didn’t take any time off (yes!) for this endeavor, I relied on a small cache of faithfuls to get me through. See what made the cut for my July 2018 Favorites after the jump.
A Repurchase
With cleaning, painting, sanding and
everything, I was uncharacteristically dry last month. I leaned on my favorite argan oil
hard in July and will be repurchasing shortly. Face. Hands. Feet. Added it to lotion. Used it alone. Used it with sunless tanner. It’s a miracle worker. I just re-ordered
another 4oz bottle from Mountain Rose Herbs.
Another Repurchase, Actually
I’ve been out in the sun a lot, too – between house stuff, enjoying al fresco lunches, and other stuff, I’ve gone through
a lot of
this sunscreen. It has saved me so much! I’ve converted several friends, too; believe in this damn stuff – it is fantastic.
The Best Damn Facial Sunless Tanner, Period
Since I’ve hit the sunscreen hard, I’ve wanted some help achieving a summery glow. I can’t say enough good things about this product and I’m looking forward to waxing poetic AF about it.
No Eyeshadow-Eyeshadow
After
- running out of eye primer
- seeing Lisa Eldridge’s video several months ago
- and spotting it on sale at Costco for under $20
I grabbed this to use as a base (or by itself) for my eyes. It is a really nice product that stands alone well on skin tones ranging from fair to medium. It holds onto shadow and, even worn alone, gives the lid a smooth appearance.
