I’ve been a Costco member for a few years now and have shared some beauty finds in the past. Costco Beauty is a veritable treasure trove of desirable products at even-more-desirable prices. Arguably, if you have a makeup/skincare/haircare habit, the savings on some of these finds alone more than pays for the membership if you were planning to buy them anyway.
Here are some neat things I came across recently. I haven’t purchased most of these items, but either want to at some point or think they’re probably interesting enough to some people to share.
Amope Pedi Perfect Wet & Dry
The standard Amope Pedi Perfect is the recipient of several consumer awards as well as overwhelmingly positive reviews. Between 4.5 and 5 stars virtually everywhere, the Pedi Perfect typically retails for $30-36 for the device itself with only one head. Costco regularly carries the Wet & Dry variety, which is waterproof and therefore safe to use in the shower, for $40; the Wet & Dry variety typically goes for $50+ elsewhere. Costco’s package includes FIVE replacement rollers heads, which retail for $20 for a pack of two, plus a storage bag. Bonus: You DON’T have to be a member to order this from Costco.com, but there is a non-member surcharge of a couple dollars. This is the best value I’ve found via Costco Beauty to date.
Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum
This popular Murad serum goes for $65 at Sephora and Ulta in the same quantity. Even with a 20% off Platinum Perk or the November VIB sale, it drops to $52…so the $43 price tag Costco has it for is a steal. People have luck fading acne scars, sun spots, and age spots with this.
YSL Touche Eclat
I’m personally not too interested in this highlighting concealer that is designated as a holy grail product for many, but shades start at $24 and go up to $32. Like everything else on this list, that represents a significant savings over the retail price of $42. The catch is that they carry a limited range of shades (two at the time of writing this).
Various Perricone MD No Something-Something
If you’re chasing the no-makeup makeup look, Costco carries several Perricone MD options. They rotate a good bit, but the above products are each $10-20 off retail. Bonus: Some of them are not member-only!
Olaplex No. 3
Ever watch a Guy Tang video? His antics are a bit much for me, but he preaches the glory of Olaplex. The research I’ve done seems to corroborate his high, enthusiastic praise. If you want to try the real-deal take-home product (instead of the far less expensive Sally Beauty version), you can score a two-pack for $33. My salon doesn’t use it so I haven’t tried it.
Mason Pearson Nylon & Boar (Junior & Popular)
If you’re looking for a Buy it For Life hairbrush and have $125+ you have nothing better to do with at the moment, you can get a Mason Pearson for $45-55 off retail – or $125 for the Junior and $150 for the Popular. This is too rich for my blood especially considering how much I adore my Wet Brush (only $9), but that doesn’t mean it might not be relevant to you or another reader’s interests.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Creme
As highlighters go, Becca is still relevant – and if you’re looking to test the waters of their poured cream version, Opal is available for $8 off retail. Occasionally, they carry the Pressed and Liquid varieties.
Silkn ReVit
I haven’t found this on Costco.com, but I bought my Silkn Revit for $65. I really love this device and how it fits into my skincare routine. Review coming before the end of the month!
The Bottom Line
If you have a Costco membership already, shopping Costco Beauty for products you intended to try anyway is a great way to save. If you don’t have a membership, some products can be purchased without. Otherwise, the $55 standard membership fee quickly pays for itself in what you could save here, let alone the other stuff the store has to offer.
