TonyMoly at Sephora

It’s pretty cool to see unadulterated (well, I think they’re unadulterated – I haven’t tried them and compared them to ones from import retailers) Korean beauty products in the western market. Sure, there are weird things like snail emulsions (though not from TonyMoly as far as I know), but they have a lot of effective skincare, and perhaps even more adorable beauty products.

I gushed when I first learned some TonyMoly was popping up at Sephora. Now, they have a few more products in addition to the Bbo Bbo lip balms – moisture sprays, hand creams, facial sticks whose purpose I’m not entirely sure of…

All of that is great! I, however, am still waiting for crushingly adorable little guys to appear on the shelves and in the site listings.

TonyMoly Petite Bunny Gloss BarThis, readers, is a Petite Bunny Gloss Bar. Like everything else from TonyMoly, this product is housed in sickeningly cute packaging. I actually got this off a 3rd party merchant on Amazon a year or two ago. This little one is peach, but they have Orange, Cherry, and Grape, maybe Strawberry, among others. Each is as cute as the next, but each variety has a different bunny face on the cap.

It’s silly, but it’s the little things sometimes. As for the balm itself, it is tinted and delivers semi-opaque payoff. It is not sparkly, sticky, or even particularly glossy, but it does have a sheen. It isn’t very moisturizing, but it does no harm, either.

If you work in a Serious Environment, I’d caution against this being your go-to balm during the work week. Otherwise, go wild.

What do you think – would you pick up a Petite Bunny Gloss bar if they arrived at Sephora? How about any of the TonyMoly products they already carry?
