Silkn Flash and Go Freedom Update 1: I completed my third treatment last week. While it is still to early to say, “Yes, it is completely working as intended,” I have noticed a difference in the growth of hair. It is gradually lessening. It’s still there, but we aren’t done yet – so far, I’m satisfied with the progression of things.

Multiple treatments are needed because the hair in any given areas grows in phases.

In this outstandingly refined graphic that I expertly crafted (cough) above, let’s say hairs 0, 3, and 6 grow in Phase One. 1, 4, 7 grow in Phase Two. Say 2, 5, and 8 grow in Phase Three.

Any given treatment is only targeting actively follicles that are growing hair. It isn’t all just going to fall out at once and be gone. You have to target the multiple phases. And sometimes, you’ll miss a spot because you aren’t perfect. Which is fine, because you have this handy device and can touch up whenever you feel the need.

That’s another thing worth noting. Just like traditional professional laser hair removal systems, you shave prior to a treatment, then treat. After the treatment, the hair will continue to appear to grow – but that’s just your body, “ejecting,” the already-formed hair that hadn’t emerged from the surface of your skin. So just be aware that it is normal, and should be expected.
